100 Social Innovations from Finland

‘100 Social Innovations from Finland’ presents a plethora of inventions that have the capacity to unite a society. Finland’s welfare has historically been secure: gender equality, free education, social security, and democracy have all been established and sustained through acts of social stability. Free school meals, xylitol, the invention of saunas and text messaging — all are Finnish social innovations and are inventions that our global community immensely benefit from.

This book sheds light on the advantages of social innovations — both serious and entertaining — and highlights how these creations have changed the direction of a nation’s social development.
